About the Webservant

I'm sure this page's name caught your eye. "The WebSERVANT?!? What in the world is that?" Well, I figure you've noticed that on other websites, the reference is frequently made to "the Webmaster." However, for myself, I figured the term "webservant" was more appropriate. I am your servant, and God's servant. He alone is the only One Who can rightfully claim the title of "Master." As John the Baptist so masterfully, OK, servantfully, put it in John 3:30, "He must become greater; I must become less." Anyway, about me.

I am Luke Hobbs. I am 16 years old, and my birthday is February 21, in case you ever decide you want to send me a birthday card. I live in a very small town in the Arkansas River Valley (close to the northwest corner of the state) called Branch, the inhabitants of which number 357. Yes, it really is that small. We like to say that when you're driving by, if you blink you'll miss it. However, there are five churches in the "downtown" portion of Branch. The largest of these is the First Baptist Church of Branch, and that's the church my dad pastors.

My dad and mom are Timothy Eugene and Rachel Susan Hobbs. They have five kids, of which I am the oldest. I am 16; next is Daniel, who is 14; then Hannah, who is 11; Caleb, who is 8; and Samuel, who is 4. We're a lively bunch, I can assure you.

I have been homeschooled from kindergarten on, and am now a junior. I like school for the most part and my favorite subjects are History and Writing (as you may have guessed from this site, I LOVE to write).

But enough about me. Now go to another page that's worth your while to read!
